MEMBERSHIP RENEWALSAs foreshadowed before our AGM, we are now seeking membership renewals, having skipped renewals in 1998 in the uncertainty of STAV's future. As some members renewed of their own volition during the last year, we will recognise any renewals forwarded in the last year as being paid up to September 1999. For all others, memberships are now due.While our activity levels have been greatly reduced in recent years, it is important for us to maintain our membership core to ensure we can continue to operate with some authority. Affiliated clubs should also note that one of the benefits of affiliation is a free display table at the STAV Ski Show (see separate article). If your membership is due, the address label will be noted accordingly and a membership renewal will be printed on the back of the address sheet included with this edition of Skitour.
