PUB TO PUB RACE
Once again STAV will be running the Hotham to Dinner Plain Pub to Pub race on Saturday August 14th. Last year saw the continued high levels of participation experienced in recent years with almost 200 competitors of all sizes, shapes and skiing ability levels. As always the idea behind the event is not so much about who wins as about getting lots of people out enjoying an exiting ski along one of Australia's best trails.
Helpers Needed
Although we run the event in a pretty laid back way, we do need helpers to assist on the day to make it a success. It's a fun day out and we can arrange accommodation for the weekend at Dinner Plain at discount rates for helpers. A number of us who have worked on this event for many years would actually like to give it a try ourselves, so we're looking for some new volunteers. You don't need to have been involved in something like this before - it's not brain surgery or rocket science, just a way to help people have a great ski.
